Jennifer Wells-Dickerson grew up in western New York near Lake Ontario. She attended State University of NY at Geneseo and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Art and Art History in 2002. Jennifer then went on to study Jewelry and Light Metals at Rhode Island School of Design where she received a Master of Fine Arts degree in 2004.
After graduate school, she worked in Rhode Island as a fashion jewelry designer for many well known retail stores. During that time, Jennifer taught continuing education jewelry at Rhode Island School of Design. She also taught at the School of The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA.
In 2008, Jennifer left the fashion jewelry industry to form Circle and Stone Studio and focus on custom designs and one of a kind pieces.
Jennifer currently lives with her husband, and two daughters in rural Western NY. She built a new studio and currently works designing limited production jewelry, wedding bands and engagement rings, as well as custom and one of a kind pieces. She also formed a new line of production jewelry called Circle and Sprout with her friend Sarah Millis-Kujawa. It can be seen at:
